Peppy Penny is a 2 year old bundle of love and energy! She came to us from a family that couldn't take care of her. Penny gets excited easily—meals, medications (she loves them because they come in peanut butter or other goodies!) and playtime. Penny LOVES to eat--when she gets fed she dances around like a nut! Once she gets to know other dogs, she enjoys playing with them.
Penny has allergies so weekly baths and allergy meds are a must, along with daily eye drops for mild dry eye. We have seen a significant improvement in controlling her allergies with the medications and limited ingredient food. She will try to sample other dogs’ food so separation at mealtime keeps everyone happy. Penny is mostly potty-trained. With her high-energy, she jumps a lot. Penny would benefit from consistent training to curb her jumping and complete potty training. She takes time to warm up to other dogs. Slow introduction is needed but once she does, she loves to play with her buddies. Penny’s ideal home would be with someone who is around during the day for training and frequent potty breaks.
