Quinn's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING -- Quinn is a very sweet senior dachshund with huge dark eyes that will melt your heart. Quinn's family could not take care of him and give him the life he deserved so he came into rescue where he could continue to be loved while we try to find him a wonderful forever home. Quinn is in excellent condition not just for his age, but for a dachshund too. He goes on daily walks and loves meeting people. This darling is also house trained and is use to going outside every couple of hours. He loves to cuddle and loves to be invited into the big human bed. Quinn needs a home where his guardian is home most of the time and who would enjoy daily walks with this handsome guy. He has not been cat tested. An adoption application is required to be submitted prior to scheduling any meet with Quinn. The application can be filled out online at c2cdr.org. All of our adoptable dachshunds are fully vetted prior to adoption. Quinn's adoption fee is $150.00. Quinn is available for adoption within Colorado only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinn, a Louisville Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
