Harley's Story...
Harley is a gray/white pit bull, 3-5 years old. She was found by the people that are fostering her. Her teeth were filed down so her age was hard to determine. She is fully vetted and heart worm negative. She has some scarring on her legs and an old scar/injury on her right shoulder. She will limp after excessive exercise or walking. She is great with dogs and people. She absolutely LOVES children!! It is hit or miss with cats so far. She is currently working on leash manners and house breaking but is coming along great. Sweet and kind. She is looking for a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Macon Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Macon, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Macon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macon paves the way for another one to be saved.
