Mozart's Story...
Mozart is a big kitten, and is only about 8 months old in spite of his large size. We suspect he's going to be a big boy! He enjoys snuggles immensely, and purrs and purrs when you hold him in your arms. He would sit in your lap forever if you let him, and is not a very active kitten. When Mozart arrived at the shelter he had been living outside for a little while and was in dire need of a bath. Fortunately, he cooperated very well with his foster mom and we learned that he loves being brushed. Check out the second photo to see a soggy Mozart! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mozart, a Erwin Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Erwin, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Erwin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Erwin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Erwin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Erwin paves the way for another one to be saved.
