Lincoln came to us from the IACC. What a great face this boy has!!! 1 year old and around 45lbs. Full of enery and kisses galore. Overall an exuberant young man; lacking some manners and basic training. He gets grumbly during his vet exam but no reactivity noted with normal handling. We are attributing his behavior from being very stressed in a short period of time. We have learned so much about him at his foster home. I would say he is truly a Misunderstood Husky. His ominous mask and vocalization was a little hard to read at first. We gave him plenty of time to settle in and get adjusted in his foster home to see if the true Lincoln would come out. We have learned SOOO much about him!! He's just a very animated character. He knows a lot of basic commands already. Potty and crate trained. He is a fence jumper/climber if you try to leave him alone. He will do anything for a treat. He has some weird play styles and greetings which we have since learned its just part of Lincoln. He plays rough, and by rough I mean he likes to body slam and poke you with his nose. =) For this reason we are recommending kids older than 8yrs old. He's great with the other dogs. He's confident but not dominant. He will take warnings but also likes to push the limit if he really wants to play. He won't start an altercation, but he will also stick up for himself and not be bullied. He adores the female doggy in his foster home. Lincoln is Neutered,UTD, HW/Lyme tested and on prevent, microchipped. Application, Home visit, Contract apply. $300 Adoption Fee.
