I was brought to Paws and Whiskers after I was found hungry and very underweight. I had been roaming around in a trailer park for almost 3 months, desperately trying to stay alive, eating whatever I could find. Finally a nice lady who lived in the park noticed what a rough time I was having and made arrangements for me to come to PAWS. Paws has discovered that I have hyperthyroidism, and they're working to manage it (it is generally managed through medication- and monitoring, but there are other options). PAWS will help you understand what my hyperthyroidism means, and how best to handle it. I promise I'll make up for any trouble by loving you twice as hard! Would you have space in your heart and home for a special older gentleman like me?
