My story

Abbie is the sweetest ever 5 year old girl. This sweet girl came from a deplorable hoarding situation and is now in a great Lucky Lab foster home and is thriving. She came to us heartworm positive, but has been treated and doing well. Abby is a pretty little girl weighing about 55 lbs. She is very sweet and timid initially and uncertain of strangers. Once she knows you’re trustworthy she warms up nicely, and her quirky and good-natured personality really begins to shine. She is very loving, loyal, loves to be near her people (expect to have a little shadow), to snuggle, and to have her ears rubbed. Abbie is a low energy girl, good with other dogs, good with cats, good recall, house trained and crate trained. She deserves a special family who will understand her needs and be patient with her as she learns to trust and feel safe and at home in a new place. She would benefit from a quieter home, as she is easily startled, and one where she can have plenty of time with her person getting lots of love and affection. Abbie is spayed, heartworm free, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped.
