Cross-posting for our friends in London, Ontario (Animal Love Foundation, London, ON (519) 485-3244) who are helping us re-home Vafa Dog from Iran: Cheshmak is a 15 month old, spayed, up to date with shots, Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is looking for a loving home to call hers. She is a very sweet dog that is longing to learn new things and to de-mystify the human world, so that she can grow to be a confident and happy dog. Cheshmak has lived in a dog sanctuary for a good part of her short life. She is learning to trust people and other dogs, she is a very smart cookie and learns things fast. She loves car rides, is good on leash, and really enjoys going on nice long walks or hikes. She enjoys exploring her new world. Cheshmak will do best in a home with an active lifestyle and interest in training her more manners and skills. She is learning more and more every day that she is safe, and beginning to understand what love is. She is good around older children, calm, passive dogs and ignores cats.
