Sebastian's Story...
Meet Sebastian, this regal 5-year old, Neutered, Irish Wolfhound mix. He was found homeless on the streets of Tehran, and because of his wonderful temperament and the generosity of our volunteers, he is now here in SF Bay Area looking for his forever loving home. Sebastian is house trained, enjoys his daily walks where he gets to explore, sniff and mark interesting shrubs and trees on his way. He likes people, other dogs, and respects cats. Even though he appears to have lived in a home before, he doesn’t know any commands. In addition he will need his regular daily walks / exercise to build more muscles in his back legs. We had a series of x-rays taken and found a very old fracture in his right hip -- the vet seems to think it may have happened when he was just a puppy :( It has obviously healed the same broken way, and as he ages, Arthritis will build around the old fracture. Sebastian is best suited for a home where his family members can provide him with adequate daily exercise, teach him basic commands using positive reinforcement training methods, and show him the good life! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Garner Irish Wolfhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound for sale in Garner, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound dog from a breeder in Garner.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garner already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garner breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garner paves the way for another one to be saved.
