Andy's Story...
** Courtesy posting for: International Dog Rescue ** Andy is a sweet, intelligent, 15 months old male, neutered Labrador Retriever mix dog. Andy arrived from Iran a few months ago, after being rescued by a kind Samaritan who found him with broken left rear hip. He was operated on and although his body is slightly deformed, he gets around pretty nicely and runs around the hills of San Anselmo with his foster family and his furry friends. He is one happy dog. Despite the hardship and abuse he endured, he loves people and walks up to strangers to shake hands. He loves children and young girls in particular. He gets along well with other dogs and plays joyfully with them. Andy is housebroken. He is micro-chipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy, or to arrange to meet Andy, please contact: Nick or Fay @ 1.415.453.5412

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Garner Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Garner, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Garner.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garner already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garner breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garner paves the way for another one to be saved.
