Mamada's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mamada's Story...
Mamada is currently being fostered in El Cerrito

My name is Mamada.  I am a healthy 5+  year old hound mix, spayed, with updated  vaccines.   My name was given to me as I came to the shelter as a mama-dog (from puppy mill).

I love to experience new adventures; like long walks,  being outdoors and meeting new dogs and people.

My foster brother and I get along great, as well as the house cat.  I don't bark at the mailman like my brother does!  And I love watching my foster mom garden, while I lounge under the sun.

I'm simply looking for a family and a warm bed to share my life with.  My time in the shelter has taught me to be forever grateful to those who adopt me. I promise to be your best friend and love you with all my heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mamada, a Garner Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Garner, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Garner.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garner already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garner breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garner paves the way for another one to be saved.
