Meet Venus! Venus is one loyal German shepherd with a lot of personality, who has come a long way in search of a good life. She is approximately 5 years old, spayed and healthy. This beautiful girl knows some basic commands and is proving to be a fast learner. Venus enjoys her daily walks, and walks nicely by your side. She loves lounging around in the sunny spots in and around the house, is not destructive when left alone, and she is crate trained and loves chilling in her crate and cuddling with her favorite plush toy. Venus enjoys car rides and would make a wonderful companion on the road. Venus came to us with no training at all but has been responding well to positive reinforcement training methods and is learning every day about life in a human world. As you can see in her pictures, her ears are missing. We think that when she was a young puppy, her ears were cut off by some ignorant and unkind people. In spite of her rough past, she will bond with anyone who is loving and gentle towards her. She can live with another compatible dog, is not a dog park dog, and enjoys peace and quiet. Venus will do well in a home with previous dog experience, no children and no cats, and willingness to continue her training using reward-based training methods.
