Meet Tango, an 8-month old, male Australia Shepherd cross Borzoi. This beautiful young dog is an international rescue dog from Iran, and has traveled a long way hoping to find a home where his human family members will love him, teach him lots of new things, and show him the good life in a human world. Tango can be shy at first but will warm up to you and follow you everywhere. He is currently in a foster home in the bay area where he lives with 2 cats, has become house-trained, and learned some basic commands. Tango likes playing with his toys, plays nicely with other dogs, and enjoys chewing on a bone. He may try to guard his favorite toy, food item, or person from other dogs, however he responds really well to positive reinforcement and reward-based training really well. With consistent training and management he can learn to remain calm and pleasant.
