Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Patoo, approximately 3 year old, spayed, potty trained, beautiful female dog. She was born in Vafa Animal Shelter in Iran, and she has been fostered in a home here in SF Bay Area where she has been learning some social skills and become potty trained. Patoo is looking for a relatively quiet home with adult household members and no other dogs to prevent her from bonding with another dog instead of her guardians. Don't get us wrong. She LOVES dogs, but now that we have her in a home without dogs, she's bonded nicely with people. She is a shy dog and is happiest when people give her space and time to warm up to them. If you are looking for a dog to cuddle with on your bed and couch, she is NOT the dog for you. She is happy in her own bed, and will let you know when she is ready for some petting and attention, however that may take few weeks before it happens. She is respectful towards cats and leaves them alone. She LOVES to go on walks, but again, at first she may be shy and take time to get excited to go out on a walk with her person. Right now, she sings and gets very excited when her foster mom gets home from work and she lets her know by stretching and sitting in front of her, saying: 'I'm ready, let's go!' She has been to dog parks with us, and hangs out with her person most of them time, and will start playing with other dogs only after she gets to know them..
