Case's Story...
Case is a Purebred Small Full size Black tri Australian shepherd, at 6 years old.
Case was found in Great Bend Kansas Shelter, when no one came to claim him, The ACO set out to find him a rescue. Case gets along with other dogs, as long as they don't get in his face. Very good natured, and past the puppy stages. He is well mannered, walks well on a leash and knows a few commands.
Case can be active, would be good in a family with Kids OVER 10.
Case would benefit from a home that has or had a Aussie, and knows the Aussie temperament.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Case, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
