Buddy Dew's Story...
Buddy Dew is a little over a year old purebred Border Collie and we are looking for a new home for him. He is a great dog and does well at the doggy daycare in our area. But we live in Lake Quivira and there are no fences or leash laws. It is very difficult for Buddy when kids run thru the yard, he has herding instincts and he wants to play. The kids just run and scream and it just riles him up,. Also he chases golf carts and bikes, which there are many in the area.
Buddy needs a home with older kids and a active family to run him.
He also would do better with a fenced yard to protect him from the kids running around.
He loves hikes in the woods and anyplace that he can run free.
Please email me at diane.ismert.delaney@gmail.com
Buddy is neutered and utd on all vaccines, heartworm and flea control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy Dew, a Overland Park Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
