Vance's Story...
VANCE IS LOCATED IN ARKANSAS UNTIL ADOPTED. WHEN WE LIST OUR RESCUES ON ADOPTAPET.COM THEY SEND OUT THE INFO ABOUT THE DOGGY TO ALL AREAS THAT OUR TRANSPORT DELIVERS TO. THAT IS WHY HE IS SHOWING TO BE IN YOUR AREA.
This sweet little guy is Vance. Him and his siblings were born to a small momma dog that a young couple rescued off the street. They named the mom Bella and it was soon evident that she was pregnant. They asked if I could help place the babies once they were weaned. I took them into my rescue on May 23rd. They were born on April 19th so they turned 8 weeks old on 6-14 and he was neutered that day. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccines. He currently weighs 6 lbs. We expect him to be a small adult- possibly less than 20 pounds. His mother weighs around 15 pounds. We are obviously guessing at the breeds but Vances's littermates look Beagle and the mom has Rat terrier in her but not full blooded- we have no idea on the father/fathers. Vance has longer fur and brindle color on his legs like his momma. He is a gorgeous pup.The adoption fee for Vance is $275 and the transport fee through Got Orphans Transport is $140. For more info and I picture of the mother- please email me, Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you so much for considering adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vance, a Westport Beagle/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Rat Terrier for sale in Westport, or seeking a Beagle/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
