Levanna is a longhaired, brown classical tabby and white female around 1 year old. She is a bigger girl, and we believe she may be a Maine Coon mix or a Norwegian Forest Cat mix. She was not well-socialized as a kitten and can be rather fearful at first. She started to become friendly, but since her kittens were weaned she has gone back to being more independent and no longer wants to be handled. She likes to be with you, and she might improve more with time. We do not believe she would be happy as an inside cat, and we are searching for the perfect barn home for her. While she doesn't like to be handled, she does like to be near you. We do consider her semi-feral, and we would prefer her to go to a barn that has feral cat experience. She does have a history of biting when scared, and cannot go where she will be around young children, who might be tempted to try to pick her up or catch her. She is very social with other cats and will need to be adopted with another cat.
