Banjo was crossing a busy highway when I spotted him and his 2 beagle girlfriends. When I pulled over, he came right to me, and rode home trying to sit in my lap (all 42 pounds of him!) He was thin and covered with ticks but otherwise healthy. The vet says he's right about a year old, so he still has some growing to do and will probably top out around 60 pounds or so. He appears to be a German shepherd/hound mix.
He's a very friendly boy, and gets along well with other dogs. He has been neutered, heartworm tested (negative), vaccinated, de-wormed, dosed with Nexguard for flea and tick control and Heartgard for heartworm prevention.
He REALLY wanted to get at the cats, but not in an aggressive way. However, because of his size, he would probably do best in a cat-free home.
His adoption fee is $100.00
