Important Note

Tom is best friends with Jerry. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Hi My name is Tom, I was found with my brother by someone in Mexico. We were really skittish when we came into rescue. We are still a little shy, but LOVE our foster brothers, both cats and dogs. Love kids that are nice and people. I am very bonded with my brother and will have to be adopted with him. We need to be indoor cats too.

About Rover's Retreat Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Rover's retreat dog rescue is a canine rescue group located in San Diego, California, that finds homes for dogs that are homeless, sick, abandoned, or elderly that need a safe haven. We are not a breed specific rescue, so you'll find golden retrievers, labrador retrievers, beagles, bernese mountain dogs, flat coated retrievers, chihuahuas, australian shepherds, and lots of other breeds that are waiting for you to take them home!

Come Meet Our Pets...

You can apply online anytime and if you look at our website under news and events, you'll see upcoming opportunites to meet the dogs!

Our Adoption Process...

We require an online adoption application, followed by an home check, then we match the dogs and the adopters.
We have a contract and there is an adoption fee based on the age of the dog. Puppies are $400, dogs from 1-5 are $350, and dogs over 5 are $300.
This helps to cover the costs of immunizing, including rabies, bordetella, and DHPP as well as spaying/neutering and microchipping
