Buck is a male Pointer mix. Buck is young and impressionable. He needs someone to introduce him to new things in an encouraging way. He is can be very loving and wants so badly to please his humans. He is just not sure how to go about it. He is nervous when meeting new dogs. We do require a dog to dog match-up prior to adoption. He has not been tested with cats at this time. With basic obedience training, Buck will get the confidence building and leash work he needs to help him blend better into his new home.

*All HSSCM dogs are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and are microchipped.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buck, a Battle Creek Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
