Pablo is not a kitten.  In fact, Pablo is the farthest thing from a kitten you will ever meet.  He is an old man who has fathered many neighborhood litters for more than 10 years.  he is a huge brown tabby with thick fur.  He's been a stray for so long that I thought for sure he would be vicious and wild.  To my surprise, he is the sweetest most docile tomcat I've ever met.  When I walk into the room he gets up from his nap and positions himself on a chair to be petted.  He sits there patiently waiting while I clean the litter boxes and freshen the food and water.  He's so happy when I finally come over to scratch him, massage him, and brush him.  He used to bop Tiger on the head to shoo him away but now they often stand cheek to cheek at the water dish sharing a drink together.  All of the kittens come running and surround him when he walks across the room.  Everyone loves Pablo.  It's impossible not to.

About CatVando TNR Corp

About Our Rescue Group...

Our primary mission is to prevent kittens through a Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program. However, sometimes we get Trap Neuter Adoption (TNA’s). When shelters are full, we foster, socialize and vet the kittens. This part of our program also involves local youths in the care of kittens in addition to our TNR efforts.

While in our system, kittens are fed a good quality Grain-Free Kibble and care is taken to assure their long and healthy life to the extent possible. We supplement for specific issues i.e. Pro-biotics, EFA's, immune boosters and sometimes digestive enzymes.. Many are exposed to dogs and are comfortable with them. They’ve been exposed to many wonderful volunteers of all ages.

When possible we capture the mama with the litter to assure their fuller development. Many times we keep them together for 9-12 weeks. Our adoption fee covers spay neuter surgery, FVRCP & Rabies vaccinations, parasite, ear mite & flea treatment when necessary, and a micro chip. And some of them have a small ear tip—just a reminder that you’ve given a cat a home that could have otherwise had to fend for itself, on the streets.

Our adopted cats and kittens are welcome back for the duration of their life in the event the adoption doesn’t work out, or if it becomes impossible for you to keep the cat. We’re always available for consultation about behavior, health, or referrals to assistance beyond our scope.

Our Adoption Process...

1. Fill out an application

2. Face to face Interview, and meet with the cat/kitten

Part of our adoption process requires observing all family members interaction, especially children.

We always adopt bonded pairs, but single cats are sometimes available. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $25 - $75 for a single cat, and $125 for a bonded pair.

Depending on the situation, we may also need to carry out a home visit, and help with transportation and introduction of the cat to it's new surroundings.

Follow-ups are part of the normal process.
