Bernie is an absolute love who has just been given a clean bill of health after a long treatment for heartworm disease. He is playful and fun but also loves to snuggle and get lots of love and affection. This boy has a heart of gold and a survivor's spirit that will win you over as soon as you meet him!
We always recommend crate training, exercise, playtime, and a regular schedule for potty breaks when bringing a new dog into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!
Included in the adoption fee are rabies & distemper vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and a free initial exam by one of many generous veterinary clinics who have donated their service.
