Layla's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Layla's Story...
Layla is a lab/dachshund mix, 6-7 years old. She is a sweet dog. She is house and crate trained, walks well on a leash. She gets along with kids and adults once she gets to know them. Layla will not run out the door when you open it, she waits for you to tell her to go outside, but she loves the outside. A fenced yard would be good for the home she goes to. She is picky when it comes to other dogs, but for the most part she gets along with them, might take a few minutes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Macon Labrador Retriever/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund for sale in Macon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Macon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dachshund breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macon paves the way for another one to be saved.
