Pepper's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Pepper is a senior small breed dog that is looking for a great home! She was pulled from a shelter and is now safe in our rescue. She needs a great senior home to live out her wonder years. She is good with dogs and cats. Is housebroken and crate trained!

foster update:Pepper doesn't like energetic young dogs. I have at home Zuky and she is 5# and 4 years old, and pepper didnt bother with her. Pepper also likes having a crate where she can go and relax. She loves to sit and watch tv or just have her belly rubbed. And be able to hang out in the back yard. She likes some attention and doesn't mind being surrounded by calm dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Sanford Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
