My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Beatrice. My friends think that I am a Poodle/Lhasa Apso mix. What a strange combination, right? I think it's a pretty cute mix, if you ask me.

I'm probably around 5 years old. It's just an educated guess, though, so don't hold me to it. I have already been spayed, had all my necessary vaccines, and I have been microchipped. I'm basically ready to go to my new home.

Sweet, friendly, loving, joyful, and inquisitive are all words I would use to describe myself. I'm so full of life that it's hard to be upset when I'm around. You'll always see a great big smile on my face! I also happen to love everybody I meet - people and dogs alike! I'm really the perfect dog.

Not a lot is known about my history. My friends aren't even sure if I ever had a family or not. They found me at a local high-kill shelter where I had been impounded. Thankfully, they rescued me shortly after I got there, so I didn't have to stay too long.

You can probably tell from my photos that I am a little overweight. I'm looking for a family that will keep me active and help me lose some of the extra pounds I have.
