Bandit–2, is a handsome 27 LB, Spaniel/Dachshund mix about 6 years old. He is current on all of his vaccinations and has been neutered and micro-chipped.  Bandit is a perfect only dog especially since he doesn’t care for other dogs. He is very good on a leash and loves his walks so will be a wonderful walking companion. He loves the attention of his person and does like to give kisses once he gets to know you. He knows the sit command, is potty trained and is a housedog.  Bandit enjoys his chewies but is protective over them, no one should try to take them away from him.  We put them up during the day after he goes outside to potty.  He is starting to play with toys. Runs over to greet you when you come into the room. He does love to be petted.  He seems to like women over men and we feel he wouldn’t be good with kids. He would do good with a dog training class, Bone e Fide dog training out of Manteca has the perfect program for him. Bandit 2 would be a great companion for a single younger retired person as he is active.
If you are interested in this dog or would like more information please send me an Adoption Questionnaire
Thank you

Our Adoption Process...

AFCHS is a non-sheltered humane society organization modeled after some of the more progressive humane societies. We do not believe any home is better than no home, but instead, work to find the right home for each specific animal.
If you are interested in adopting an animal, please fill out and submit the adoption questionnaire or call 209-368-1761 or 209-365-0535. ALL of the fields on the application MUST be filled out or the application will not send, if this happens your time will have been lost. If you are having trouble filling out the on-line application we can email you a copy to fill out. You can also copy the application and paste it into a word document, fill it out and then send it to us at office@animalfriendsconnect.org please call us afternoons at 209-368-1761 or 209-365-0535
Filling out a questionnaire is not a commitment to adopt. It does help us determine if the dog or cat you inquire about is suitable for your home and to suggest others not yet on our site.
While we have some dogs and cats at our Sanctuary most of them are in foster care or rescue homes. An application must be completed before an appointment can be set to meet them.
