Dexter Alexander's Story...

My name is Dexter and I was found on the street by Animal Control and taken to the shelter. I was scared, and so hungry. You could see all my ribs and hib bones and I was so week I could hardly stand up. The other dogs think my ears are too long and my hair is a mess, but I've just had some rough times. I may be a little scared at first because someone was really mean to me, but if you give me love, I'll come to trust you and I will be loyal to you for the rest of my life-and I don't even care if your ears are too big or your hair is tangled! It's what's inside that counts, right. I am waiting on a family and a forever home. Please contact Sharron at 479-637-2530 if you would like to adopt me. Adoption fee is $100.00 which includes being fully vetted. Please visit www.homelesspteslifeline.com for an application and to see all of our adoptable pets.  Please e-mail your application to RockyMTN99@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter Alexander, a Waldron Labrador Retriever/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff for sale in Waldron, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Waldron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mastiff breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldron paves the way for another one to be saved.
