Emerald's Info...

Emerald's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Sacramento- Emerald may not look like much right now, with her shelter shave, but she will be a beautiful girl. She is less than a year old and super happy and loving. She is playful and really an amazing girl. She lives with dogs and children and I think she would be a great addition to most homes. I cannot guess the breed with this hair cut, but some miniature poodle seems likely. She is about 12 pounds and is unlikely to grow (except to grow her hair out).

She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and ready for her forever home. You can find our adoption process and apply online at:http://recycledpetsnorcal.org/adoption-process/

Adoption Fee: $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emerald, a Sacramento Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
