My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper came into rescue almost a year ago with his sister Chloe. They came from a loving home but sadly their human mama passed away, leaving Chloe and Jasper with no place to go. Chloe was adopted months ago by a wonderful family, unfortunately they were not able to take both siblings, but Jasper was very happy for his sister.

It's now Jasper's turn to find his happily ever after. Jasper is approaching 6 years old. He's a Mastiff/Boxer blend, a large boy around 80 pounds and he's as gentle as a "gentle giant" comes. When Jasper came to us, he was unsure, his confidence had been shaken with so many life changes in such a short time. He wasn't sure what was going to happen with him, now that he was alone. Then he met his foster parents Michelle and Geoff, who poured their love into this big boy. Jasper learned he wasn't alone and would never be alone again. He's happy, healthy and very confident in knowing he does matter and he is loved.

Jasper could be a poster child for "perfectly adoptable" dogs. He loves all of his furry friends. He welcomes each new foster warmly and introduces them to the rest of the gang. He knows to be gentle with the smaller dogs and when to let loose in the back yard with the big boys and girls for some playful romping. Sometimes, Jasper just enjoys, basking in the sunlight and proudly watching the "little ones" engaging in a playful afternoon. In the evenings, Jasper loves just chillin' and hanging out. He adores his cuddle time with his foster mama and daddy but he's also content with piling up on the couch with his furry fosters, or just piling up alone. Some might refer to him as a "couch potato." We say bring on the butter, we love buttered up spuds :) Jasper says love comes in all shapes and forms and he will take all he can get.

Jasper is completely house trained, crate trained, his manners are impeccable and his heart, well it's seriously as big as his head. He has sooo much love to share.
