Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A starving cat came to a homeowner's yard. She was so hungry she ate 3 cans of food before she left. This cat kept coming back every day for a week to eat. After that week, she returned and lo and behold, she was not alone. Mama had brought her babies with her. Mom will be spayed as part of our TNR program. These babies are now 8-9 weeks old and ready to find their forever home.
*Through the month of August, anyone wishing to adopt any 2 kittens of the same sex (unless fixed) will have a reduced adoption fee of $90 for both. They will make great companions for each other!
If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.

Cat/Kitten Adoption process:
1. Fill out application
2. Adoption contract & Adoption fee
**If you do not have a current vet reference home visit is required
Adoption Fee:
$90 for a cat/kitten
*Adoption fees cover age appropriate vetting
** For the kittens that have not been fixed (due to being too young) we charge an additional $50 deposit with the condition that when they are fixed $50 is refunded.
One Step Closer Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE to the extent allowed by law. If you would like to make a donation to help us rescue more animals please send donations to PO Box 248, Sparta, NJ 07871. Please make your check payable to O.S.C.A.R..
