She had a rough past. She was locked up outside her entire life, and dumped in the shelter when she got pregnant. When no other rescues stepped up and she was getting ready to have her babies in the shelter, Florida Urgent Rescue (FUR) pulled her and got her into a foster home.
She had her babies the very next day. She is a great mama and takes good care of them, but the babies are weaned and ready to go to their own homes. She will be spayed and vaccinated as part of our vetting program.
Sadie is a 38 pound black mouth cur, and she's extremely sweet and quiet. Perhaps because of her rough past, she's VERY grateful to be indoors sleeping in a warm bed in a loving home. She's an all around good dog. She stays calm even in stressful situations. She's not too sure about other dogs- perhaps because she has her babies to protect- but she is amazing with people. She does great on walks and doesn't pull on the leash.
Sadie will make someone a wonderful best friend!
