Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

George's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

George's Story...
George is very playful and high energy! He would be great for an acive and outdoors-loving person or family. He's about 1 year old and 55 lbs. We believe he may be part Dogo Argentino, but he may just be a large pit bull terrier.

For more information, or to adopt George, please contact her foster mom at kellek-9@peoplepc.com (be sure to mention you are interested in George!) or fill out an adoption application on our website - http://forgottendogs.org/adopt/application/ - Thanks!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Houston American Pit Bull Terrier/Dogo Argentino dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Dogo Argentino for sale in Houston, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Dogo Argentino dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Dogo Argentino breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Dogo Argentino rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
