Fizzy is an adorable special needs 6 year old spayed, 13 pound Brussels Griffon/Shih Tzu. She is a loving member of the family, but she needs to live in a home without other pets. Her owners are heartbroken about giving her up. But they are expecting a baby and cannot manage her safely with their other dog and a baby. She cannot be around or live with any other animals.
Fizzy takes Trazadone and Fluoxetine to treat general anxiety (and to make sure her separation anxiety doesn't return) and Desmopressin to aid her bladder control. Fizzygig wears a diaper inside to prevent indoor bladder accidents. Fizzy has luxating patella in her back legs and enjoys short walks around the neighborhood.
Even though she can be a bit worried at first...She makes friends with people very quickly and is very cuddly. She has worked extensively with a trainer and is very good at basic manners and is well trained. She will need to continue working with a positive reinforcement based trainer to help her remain calm when she sees dogs on walks.
If you want a lovable, smart, loyal dog, who really needs you, Fizzy is your playful, sweet girl!
