Kane's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Kane's Story...
Kane came to us from Georgia, dump on a road with his sister, luckily a good person saw it happen and took them in until rescue was found. Kane is a shepherd mixed with another small dog, or so I am told. He weighs about 25 to 30 pounds and is about 8 months old. Kane is neutered, micro chipped and up to date on all of his shots. Kane is doing very well with his potty training and will get in his crate when you ask him to crate up. We are working on learning how to "Sit" and "Down" He does pretty good on a leash, but still needs a little training. Kane loves playing with all the other dogs at the rescue, even the big ones. He loves to be loved and is a real snuggle bug.I think Kane would be a great to teach how to play with a Frisbee, he can jump really high, so he will need 6 foot fencing or need to be walked. His sister lives in a home with invisible fencing and she is doing great with it, so that would be another possiblility. If you would like to adopt me please email adoptme@itavar.com and someone will send you an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kane, a Middletown Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
