Dot's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Dot's Story...
Meet Dot! Dot is an approximately 1year old female pit bull mix. Dot is looking for an active family who loves to get out and enjoy a run in the park or play a game of fetch as much as she does! Dot is a smart young pup who, with continued training, is bound to excel in obedience and dog sports! Dot has already mastered all of her basic commands and has moved on to learning more advanced tricks like "back up!" and walking on her hind legs! Some of Dot's favorite activities include trying new agility obstacles and roller blading around the neighborhood with a Found Friend! Although Dot is improving upon her social skills daily, we feel Dot would do best as an only pet at this time. Dot is pure sweetness and would love to find her perfect forever home!

If you would like to meet Dot, please contact Found Chicago at 773.539.3880 or info@foundchicago.org. All Found Chicago rescues complete basic training and included in the adoption fee are all vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dot, a Chicago Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
