SE's Flyinmoment who is now named 'Patrick' was recently relinquished as the adopter's family was moving back home and the situation was just too stressful for the adopter and Patrick. In his former home, he was good with kids ages 9 and 12 and now in his foster home, he is with young children. The adopter described him as a 'sweetheart' who is great on leash. He does have some seizures but is on phenobarbitol. Won't you consider this 6 year old sweet boy? New pictures to follow.
Foster Update 6/15/2016
WE HAVE BEEN FOSTERING PATRICK SINCE HE WAS RETURNED TO GFNJ. HE IS A GENTLE GIANT THAT ONLY WANTS TO PLEASE. HE ENJOYS LEANING ON YOU FOR ATTENTION AND HEAD RUBS. HE GETS ALONG GREAT WITH OUR TWO OTHER GREYHOUNDS. WALKS WONDERFULLY ON A LEASH AND LOVES TO RUN IN THE YARD.
THIS GUY LOVES HIS TREATS AND FEEDING TIME (WILL EAT 2 CUPS OF FOOD IN UNDER TWO MINUTES).
PATRICK IS A SEIZURE DOG AND IS CURRENTLY ON MEDICATION TO CONTROL THEM. SINCE HIS TIME WITH US WE HAVE ONLY WITNESSED TWO SEIZURES. TRY NOT TO ALLOW THIS CONDITION MAKE YOU OVERLOOK THIS GUY.
SE's Flyinmoment is a calm, good-sized boy. He's quiet and walks nicely on his leash. This handsome 3 year old is cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 8/27/2013
Flyinmoment is settling in nicely although he does make this bed look small. He is a tall and stately guy who loves walks and does very nicely on leash-no pulling. He is fine with our foster Yorkie as well as with our other grey, Bess. Steps outside the house are no problem but he is a bit awed by the inside 13 step staircase. Oh, well, plenty of fun on the first floor! He is available for adoption and will make someone very happy...is that someone you?
