Bubba's Story...
Bubba, sweet Bubba! Bubba is around a year old and has been with the rescue for about a year. Bubba is as sweet as they come and knows no stranger. Bubba is playful yet has a gentle demeanor. He's believed to be a boxer/shepherd/lab mix but your guess is as good as ours! Bubba is very smart. He is definitely submissive and wouldn't hurt a flea! A home with another playful dog would be ideal as he loves to play!

Bubba enjoys walks, training and running in the yard. He would make the perfect buddy for any adventure. He is up for anything and everything! Bubba is very loving towards his foster family and is always willing to please. He would be a great match for just about any family. Does great with dogs and children. He likes to play with cats and chase them, but won't hurt them. He's bound to run away if he is hissed at. He is crate trained and house broken.

Could you give this sweet boy the perfect forever home he is longing for?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Huntington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
