I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Leo's Story...
Leo is our Leonardo DiCaprio in the dog world. His butt wiggles are full of joy and life. Leo came to us after he found himself in a kill shelter. He was found as a stray and no one ever claimed him. Leo did have surgery to remove several tumors and is now doing much better. NO Cancer! Leo is a very calm, easy going boy. He is house trained, crate trained (does not need to be) does well with kids and dogs. He does NOT do well with cats. He has no care in the world, except finding a home of his own. He is very well behaved, is good in public and likes to go on long walks. Don't let his age fool you he is still very active and can be playful with his foster sister and brothers.

Adoption fee: $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Huntington Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
