Ti-Gars's Story...
I’m looking for my forever home.  I’m very affectionate and a quick learner. I’m eager to please. I’ve learned to sit, place, and I’m getting better on leash. I’m both house trained and crate trained and enjoy sleeping nights in my crate without making a sound. We are working on it but I am reactive on leash to other dogs, but would need a patient owner who would continue to work with me on this.  I get along well with my canine foster brother, and would love a fenced backyard and a canine brother or sister to play with.  I do get startled and scared very easily, so would do best in a household with no young children. A retired couple or a family with older children would be perfect for me.

My Age: 14 months
My Breed: Poodle Terrier

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ti-Gars, a Ottawa Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Ottawa, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Ottawa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ottawa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ottawa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ottawa paves the way for another one to be saved.
