May's Story...
Hi, I'm May.

Right now I am shy, keeping a low profile in the kitty condo and hanging out with the other kitties. I will need a guardian who will be patient with me since it takes me awhile to adjust to new situations. Come down and talk to an adoption counselor about me.

May is a seven to eight month old black-and-white tuxedo short hair beauty. May is very sweet cautious in the beginning but quite darling and warms up to people quite nicely. Will eat from your hand I loves to be petted under her chin.
Indoor only.

If you're interested in adopting this beautiful mama - please call George at 917-889-5896.
In order to adopt the kittens an adoption form must be filled out and an adoption fee plus a hard cat carrier are required

Why Adoption is a Great Option

May, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
