Facts about Lady (CP)

  • Breed: Boxer
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10160282

Lady came to us via a California shelter as an owner surrender after being adopted from the same shelter as a young dog. She had a terrible skin condition, however with a lot of vetting and an actual diagnoses her hair has mostly grown back and she's becoming a very healthy and happy go lucky girl.

Lady has limited vision although that does not stop her from exploring her environment, she enjoys dogs her same size and has gone to a small dog park and met other dogs that she has interacted and started to play with. She would do well with another calm dog her same size to teach her the lay out of her new home and yard. Lady is good on a leash and LOVES car rides and her hair blowing in the wind (she wears doggles and loves them).

Lady is a love bug, and she loves her person. Her form of separation anxiety is to pick up her food dish and carry it around the house, dumping whatever food she had in it all over indoors and out. I think that is probably the least destructive separation anxiety we've ever seen. Then, she goes around sniffing and eating all the food she dropped all over. Lady should not be crated or left alone for extended periods of time.

Her playful mood and puppy behavior is endearing. She has some gray hairs, but don't we all?

Lady has not been introduced to cats, and due to her limited sight concern small children might scare her, she would also need a home without stairs. She would love another fur companion or have you all to herself. She's a delightful senior girl who we want to help find her forever and final home.

Lady is microchipped, up-to-date on all her vaccines, has had a senior geriatric panel and ready for her next and final adventure!

Let's find Lady her forever ending and forever home.

About Sachi Animal Rescue OC

About Our Rescue Group...

Sachi Animal Rescue was created in September 2009 by a group of dog loving volunteers. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization staffed entirely by volunteers who donate their time and money to find homes for hard to place canines. We specialize in rescuing, rehabilitating and placing companion dogs(primarily, but not exclusively, the Boxer breed) that have otherwise been abandoned and neglected or abused, into loving homes.
We do this because there is such a huge amount of dogs euthanized every day who could have been great pets if only they'd been given the chance. We do this because even though saving one life at a time may seem futile, one life saved is still a victory.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Sachi Animal Rescue does not operate a kennel. Our dogs are currently boarded or stay in foster homes. Dogs will be shown by private appointments only.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption donation starts at $400.00
In order to first qualify for an appointment, applicants are required to fill out a thorough questionnaire about their home, lifestyle, dog experience as well as insurance coverage for certain breeds, adequate fencing, etc. We want to make sure the dog will be a full time member of the family and be treated as such, all his/her needs will be met and exceeded and will never be denied medical coverage.
