Leo's Story...
Hey there, I'm Leo! I'm a 1 year old shepherd/hound mix and a new guy here at the South Hills Pet Rescue. I'm such a good boy! I know all of my commands, I'm housebroken and I walk perfect on a leash. I get along with everyone I meet, two legs or four, and I still have some puppy energy left so I'd love to have a somewhat active family. Wanna meet me? Just stop in anytime Sun-Fri from 1-7 or Sat 11-7. You can also email shpr88@yahoo.com if you'd like more info. Hope to see ya soon!!!
Love,
Leo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a South Park Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in South Park, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in South Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
