Here's what the humans have to say about me:
How very sad that Rocky finds himself in need of a new home in his golden years, when he should be sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying life. Rocky is a 12 year old wheaten terrier that was turned in because his owners are going through a divorce. Poor Rocky is a bit down in the dumps, but still so sweet and mellow, and even wiggles his nub of a tail when you scratch his back and take him for a walk. Rocky was a bit neglected and had terrible ear and eye infections. It was heartbreaking to hear him cry when his ears were being cleaned but eventually, he realized that it would make him feel better. Rocky is a calm and mellow guy that doesn't get riled up easily. He walks slowly and politely on a leash and picks up the pace when he sees another dog that gets his interest. He seems to be fine with other dogs that are mature, older, and will not cause him any grief. He also doesn't seem to mind cats but will need a home with no young children. Rocky is well behaved and gentle with taking treats, and even enjoys a bath. Rocky is eager to get himself into a wonderful, loving home where he will never be let go of again. File#26361 5/31/16
