If you're looking to truly rescue a dog, please take the time to read WALDO's story. He is part of a bonded pair (see WILBUR also). WALDO was picked up as a stray this past winter. We're sure due to his age, he was passed over again and again for adoption but we couldn't resist that face. WALDO is 7ish years old and weighs 38 lbs. His buddy, WILBUR, we think, is his father. We didn't have them in the car for a minute when the stench of rotten teeth didn't get to us. Next stop - the vets. WALDO is now a much happier dog. Much luckier than WILBUR, Waldo only had one extraction! This doesn't impair his ability to eat and he patiently waits while the older one eats his soft food. He's a happy guy, and looking for that wonderful forever home that will pamper him, and his friend WILBUR.
