Clive's Story...
I'm Clive the terrier/chihuahua mix puppy. I'm 6 months old and 6 whole pounds and am as busy as you'd expect a little puppy to be. I love kids and other dogs and I think chasing cats is SO fun. I'm playful as can be with my toys and chewing on bones. I'm doing very well with house training and am learning that my crate can be fun to go in! Obedience training would be a good idea for me. Once I get my zoomies out, I do love to snuggle my people. I am vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. My adoption fee is $200. Email rescueofhope@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clive, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
