My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Sasha" is a lovely young female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on June 15, 2016 along with her best friend and former housemate (Sophie) after their family moved away and 'forgot' to take them along. "Sasha" was keeping a secret when she arrived at our shelter which she shared with everyone the following day ... She had given birth to four kittens approximately 2 weeks ago, and they were also left behind when her family moved :( Fortunately she was reunited with her babies the following day when a very compassionate landlord found them and rushed them to the shelter to be with their mother. "Sasha" was so happy to see her kittens. We witnessed a very touching reunion as she carefully cleaned each kitten and they began to nurse. This sweet young mother kitty has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful triangular-shaped face with hopeful, trusting golden eyes and long white whiskers. "Sasha" has a sweet, gentle disposition and a loving personality. She is fairly small and weighs 6.2 lbs. "Sasha" is a good mother to her tiny babies. The kittens are all miniature copies of their beautiful momma and have brown tabby coats in varying patterns. "Sasha & Her Kittens" are available for rescue at any time. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation. "Sasha" was combo tested on June 23, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. She and her kittens went home with one of our fantastic foster mothers on June 25, 2016. UPDATE: What a difference the past 10-weeks have made in the lives of Sasha and her kittens:) Their foster mother brought this family to our shelter on August 27, 2016 for a visit. "Sasha' Is looking more beautiful than ever before and the kittens are adorable young girls and boys now instead of tiny un-weaned kittens. We took updated individual photos, and the kittens are posted under their given names (Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Gingersnap, and Gum Drop). The kittens were given vaccinations and wormer on August 27th and will be spayed/neutered in the near future since they are old enough to find homes of their very own. "Sasha" was spayed on August 31, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. We took new glamour photos of momma Sasha since she will soon be an 'empty-nester' when her kittens find homes. Of course we'd love to see her adopted with one of her babies <3
