Hola! My name is Canelo and I'm an 1-1.5 year old male Lab mix, weighing 45 pounds. I was abandoned in a house in Mexico along with 4 other furry friends. A Good Samaritan rescued me until I was able to come to the states and be part of ICARE Dog Rescue. I am UTD on all my shots, neutered, and have a clean bill of health. Yay! I love to snuggle with my foster family and play with my furry foster siblings.
Since, I am very strong, sometimes, I play a little too rough and need to be told when to stop. I'm also used to taking care of myself which means I will need a strong pack leader to make sure I behave like a well balanced dog. I would do best in a home with structure and great leadership. I know some commands, such as, sit, shake, down, stay, and take-it. I'm really smart!
I would love a family that I can call my own and help me be the awesome dog I know I can be!
