Here's what the humans have to say about me:
George (01-211) is a 6 year old tri colored male with a beautiful "classic basset" face. He was found as a stray by a local humane society. He came to BHRG with a female basset who was adopted earlier this year. He is a sweet, loving boy who constantly craves the attention of his foster parents. He enjoys giving and receiving hugs and kisses and he expecially enjoys sitting in your lap. He often whines when he doesn't feel he's getting enough attention and he sometimes gets protective of his human attention by using a low growl when his basset brothers and sisters come near. Overall, he gets along OK with the other bassets in his foster home but he occasionally growls at them when they get in his personal space. George is housetrained with a doggy door but he continues to have a few accidents when the doogy door is inaccessible. He is eager to please his humans and should soon be fully housetrained. George needs and deserves a family with no small children or cats who are willing to give him the time and attention he needs to work through his issues. It is very difficult to NOT fall in love with this sweet boy.
