Meet Luca! This gentle boy is as sweet as they come. His personality is pretty even keel. You want to go on a walk? He'll go too. You want to hang on the couch? He's up for that. This boy is happy as long as he is with his people. Luca was saved from a shelter where he came in as a stray. When The Pet Rescue Center saw him he was in a kennel with 4 other dogs and he just seemed disheartened. We knew we couldn't leave him behind. He is getting more comfortable everyday and showing was a sweet and lovable dog he is. His personality would be best suited in a more mellow home. He also wouldn't mind having a dog sibling too! ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
